About Us
When Devin and Ellen got married in 2005, little did they know that the wedding cake they created would be the beginning of a lifelong passion and successful cake making business. Devin, with his art background, and Ellen with her love for baking and creativity, formed an award winning cake duo that has been making customers and their tummies happy for years! Though Devin still occasionally participates in the business, we have another experienced amazing artist named Jen who has embraced the task of creating cool cake art!
What is Sweet Grace Anna's ?
Sweet Grace Anna's is a specialty cake and dessert making studio in Boardman where we work mainly on custom order only. We bake completely from scratch and we use very high quality ingredients such as pure vanilla extract, butter , gourmet chocolate and fresh fruit. Our fillings, frostings, cakes, pastries and cookies are made fresh so that your guests are served a dessert to enjoy. Some folks may remember us as the original owners of Clarencedale Cake Inc, a local cake shop that we sold in 2013. We formed Sweet Grace Anna's in 2013 as a very tiny mom and pop operation. We unfortunately closed our storefront in 2020, but we are bouncing back from the pandemic with a relaunch of Sweet Grace Anna's as a studio cake business! We still strive to make our customers smile with our yummy creations, and we are planning on carrying a line of ready-made baked goods in summer 2022.
Though the flavor of our product is a priority to us, we are artists who love coming up with beautiful presentations for your cake, cookies and treats. Having been guests on Food Networks Cake Wars twice, (winning one episode and placing 2nd on the other), we like to rise to the challenge of creating a stunning edible centerpiece for your occasion!
